Why real estate is a good investment:

The recent housing market crash has shaken the foundation of some of our perceptions about investments, especially concerning real estate.  We are here to tell you that although real estate investments have recently come under scrutiny, that real estate is still a good investment and here is why:

 

Investing inherently comes with some form of risk.  Until 2006, purchasing a house (or additional houses) was assumed to be safe and non-risky invesetments. The surge in the lender demand for addiitonal borrowers reshaped mortgage lending putting both the borrower and lender at risk.  Here at Cescent Capital we are not advocating that real estate in any form is a good investment (you shouldn't just go out and purchase the next house you see), but rather by researching and educating yourself on local economies and projected development of certain areas, you can make informed decisions about real estate investments that can be both safe and lucrative.
